Education and Training
Jung started practicing as a registered nurse in 2008 in the medical intensive care unit. She continued her nursing education at Columbia University to obtain her master’s degree as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. After she completed her post-graduate program, she moved back to California and started her career at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center as a general surgery nurse practitioner. She has been published in the Journal of Surgical Endoscopy: Laparoscopic anti-reflux procedures with hepatic shoulder technique in the surgical management of large hiatal hernias and paraoesophageal hernias: a follow-up study. She then joined the South Bay Gastroenterology Medical Group and has enjoyed her involvement serving the South Bay community.
