Education and Training
Jung started practicing as a registered nurse in 2008 in the medical intensive care unit. She continued her nursing education at Columbia University to obtain her master’s degree as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. After she completed her post-graduate program, she moved back to California and started her career at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center as a general surgery nurse practitioner. She has been published in the Journal of Surgical Endoscopy: Laparoscopic anti-reflux procedures with hepatic shoulder technique in the surgical management of large hiatal hernias and paraoesophageal hernias: a follow-up study. She then joined the South Bay Gastroenterology Medical Group and has enjoyed her involvement serving the South Bay community.
Jung is a member of the American Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and California Association for Nurse Practitioners
Jung has medical staff privileges at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance.
