Education

Dr. Resin graduated as an undergraduate with honors from McGill University. He also completed medical school at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec Canada. He did an Internal Medicine Internship at the McGill University Hospital, Royal Victoria hospital in Montreal. He also did a Junior Residency at that same hospital. He completed a Senior Residency at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, Canada.

Dr. Resin did a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the UCLA-West Los Angeles Veteran's Hospital Combined Program between 1970 and 1972. He was a Senior Resident in Internal Medicine at the Wadsworth V.A. Hospital in West Los Angeles in 1973.

Dr. Resin became a Diplomate of the of the Board of Internal Medicine in 1973. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Gastroenterology in 1975.

Clinical Practice

Dr. Resin entered private in Torrance, California in 1973. He was the original member of what is now the South Bay Gastroenterology Medical Group. The group has grown from Dr. Resin's Practice to include the six prominent physicians currently in the South Bay Gastroenterology Medical Group. He is a Staff member of the Torrance Memorial Hospital and of the Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, California.

Dr. Resin has served as a Clinical Instructor in Medicine and Gastroenterology at UCLA. He has also been the Chief of Medicine at Torrance Memorial Hospital. Dr. Resin has also served for many years on the Executive Committee at Torrance Memorial Hospital and on multiple other committees at both of his attending hospitals.

Dr. Resin is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology and the Southern California Society of Gastroenterologic Endoscopy.

He resides in the South Bay with his wife, Gloria. He is he proud father of four children and the proud grandfather of five grandchildren.
